Jasper Tudor, Duke of Bedford is 39 years old in January of 1470. He is a Welshman and staunch Lancastrian knight. Jasper was once the Earl of Pembroke from 1455-1461. The second oldest surviving son of Sir Owen Tudor, his oldest brother was Edmund the Earl of Richmond; who perished in Yorkist captivity at Carmarthen in November of 1456.
Sir Jasper currently has in his custody the young heir to his brother’s Earldom of Richmond and Pembroke castle, his fourteen year old nephew, Sir Henry Tudor. Both he and young Henry use the red Welsh dragon as their personal badge. In the War of the Roses thus far, the Duke of Bedford fought at St. Albans in 1455, the Battle of Blore Heath in 1459, and at Wakefield in 1460.
He is currently known to be marching to join the Lancastrian army of the Prince of Wales and Richard Neville the Earl of Warwick. He returned to Wales following an eight year exile. Sir Jasper is unmarried and is a Committed Lancastrian.
